Wonder why this guy renamed the netherite boots to 1.16 netherite boots??

This is a bit odd- Bc I play on Java- I am able to see whether people are lying on their items or not in ah, so if it says "f1.16 netherite boots" and it is diamond boots, i can tell, but eagler players can not so that is the common scam for them. But for some reason, this guy renamed his real netherite boots to "f1.16 netherite boots". I think that is a bit odd...

On eagler most netherite is defaulted to that name. It displays the version its from and what it is. This also happens to other items that are not in your current version when on eagler.

but thats the thing- they are real netherite boots as you can see, so thats why its odd that he named them that

lol, nice! I've been on arch for about 1 year so far and still gets me everytime I open ah- so I had to find out why most things were named with the update it came out in. ty for telling me!

ok, I just was looking more into it and if the name of the item is slanted (like it is), then it was renamed

Or a solution for them is to use tuff and activate the "ViaVersion Viewer", also why is Tuff not working?
