I don't play eagler but the weirdest thing I came across in java is the smallest biomes I have ever seen and odd world generation.

once my world got completely corrupted I mean random new chunk in old chunks when I went from 1.5.2 to 1.8.8 to 1.12
or just entire builds gone. or duped items. also random crafting recipes in 1.12. when I was switching my 1.8 world to 1.12 it wouldn't load so I had to go in single thread mode and that worked
