How to get a version higher than 1.12.2 but still be stable?

I want to know if there is anyway to get a version of eaglercraft higher than 1.13 while everything is working how it should. My school is awfully strict, so I don't think I can get it on a website, it'll have to be a direct file download.
also this is for if this is possible
